Description
Le club agro en horticulture intervient auprès des producteurs maraîchers, de petits fruits et de pommes de terre des régions de Chaudière-Appalaches et Québec Capitale-Nationale principalement. Les principaux services offerts par le club comprennent la réalisation du PAEF, le conseil en fertilisation, santé des sols, choix de cultures principales et de rotations avec d'autres cultures (engrais verts, céréales, etc). Le club réalise ou participe à différents projets en lien avec ces aspects pour être en mesure de transférer aux producteurs les meilleures connaissances qui s'appliquent au secteur horticole. L'objectif global du club est d'améliorer les pratiques des producteurs afin d'augmenter le rendement des cultures avec un minimum d'intrants et d'énergie et de façon durable.
